LibraryWe are blessed at Roseland Park Baptist Church Academy to have a wonderful Christian library filled with fiction and non-fiction Christian-based books as well as a growing assortment of reference materials. The books selected for our library are done so on the basis of bringing honor to God through the material they present. Not only are students allowed to check out books for pleasure reading, they are also taught library skills that will enable them to do basic research as they progress through the upper elementary grades.
MusicMusic is important to our program for two reasons.
Along with daily integration of music in the classrooms, students attend a music class. Preschool students are taught a variety of songs and rhythms. Elementary students are exposed to a variety of musical genres. They learn about the history of music through the study of composers and periods of music. Music theory is taught as these students learn how to play the recorder.
Several programs are presented throughout the year in order for parents to see and hear what the students are learning in our music program.
Puppet MinistryGrades 4 – 7 also have the option to participate in a Puppet Ministry Club. The club meets after school.
